The Path to Recovered

The Path to Recovered will be a new non-profit social detox program for alcoholics in Texas. Inspired by the success of an existing Social Detox House in Dallas, we aim to serve other parts of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) recovery community on a larger scale.

Our program offers a 14-day, 100% free social detox for alcoholics, emphasizing a non-medical inpatient approach. Clients learn about the truth of alcoholism and find a solution rooted in 12-step spiritual principles. Our facility accommodates men and women separately, with aspirations to eventually include adolescents.

The heart of our association lies in our knowledgeable staff, recovered volunteers, and 12-step fellowship classes brought to the house by local groups. We are committed to creating a foundation that makes a lasting difference by offering a free comfortable environment absent of distractions where clients can focus on getting well.

Our Mission

Alcoholism casts a lonely and dark shadow over both alcoholics and their families. The confusion surrounding the real problem often leaves them searching for solutions, often only finding expensive temporary fixes that fail to address the deeper issues. Hopelessness sets in, exacerbating their struggles. Our mission at The Path to Recovered is clear: to provide a safe haven where hope and freedom converge. Through our dedicated volunteers, we share our collective experience, guiding alcoholics and their families toward a better way of living—one that offers permanent sobriety. Our volunteers impart knowledge and insight into the 12-step spiritual principles, leading clients down the same path they themselves took to overcome alcoholism. Beyond in-patient recovery, our aftercare programs and additional resources empower clients to maintain sobriety. Armed with resilience, clients learn to navigate lifes challenges with newfound strength. Together, we illuminate the path toward lasting transformation.

Programs for Women and Men

Foundation Building Program:

Two-Week In-Patient Program: 100% free in-patient residential program is specifically designed for individuals battling alcoholism and are determined to quit drinking but face obstacles. During these two weeks, participants receive education, resources, and unwavering support to achieve sobriety and build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

Arch To Freedom:

Three month intensive outpatient program (IOP): thoughtfully designed as an extension of our inpatient services. It caters to both graduates seeking ongoing support and new clients who missed the initial inpatient phase. Arch to Freedom goes beyond recovery—it empowers clients to thrive in all aspects of life through deepening recovery, real-life connections, and life skills integration.

Community Engagement:

We not only offer solution-focused classes and workshops to both women and men dealing with alcoholism throughout the year. Additionally, our dedicated volunteers provide Family Support to loved ones of alcoholics.

Resources and Learning:

Through community partnerships, The Path to Recovered will connect alcoholic men, women, and their families to essential resources for alcoholism recovery, sober living, counseling, government programs, and healthcare. Simultaneously, our educational initiatives will expand our reach, serving more individuals across the U.S. affected by alcoholism.

The Path: A Journey of Compassion

In 2024, our CEO Deanna, a recovered alcoholic, established The Path to Recovered non-profit in North Texas. Her vision was crystal clear: to create a safe haven for individuals battling alcohol addiction, regardless of financial constraints or insurance coverage. Inspired by a similar facility in Dallas that provides free detox services to alcoholics, she has embarked on a mission to replicate this experience on a bigger scale in the DFW area.

Within just 6 months, The Path to Recovered's Vision and Mission has came to life. What started as a dream is now evolving into a thriving recovery community plan for alcoholics and their families. Today, The Path continues to drive our thinking and shape our vision, fueled by an unwavering commitment to serve those in need.

Expanding Our Reach: Over the U.S.

Our Founder has harbored a long-standing dream: to extend the 12-step spiritual-based program to multiple states. We’re thrilled to work toward turning this dream into reality. By offering guidance to suffering individuals across different regions, we aim to build a brighter future—one person at a time, city by city.
